The fan blows the handkerchief, causing a quite fascinating and tense bouncing motion in the supporting carpenters rule. The rocks in this piece came from demolished walls from the grounds of the Irish Museum of Modern Art. The carpenters rule was left by a construction worker who had been renovating these historic premises.
