This construction acts to make a continuous 2 scene road movie in the cinematic tradition. One scene shows the wheel of the car on the road (the bottom of a water bottle) and the other scene shows the car passing along the road in the distance.
Between the scenes a bright light shines into the camera lens to create a fade to white dissolve transition effect.
