This series of three kinetic sculptures play out as two scene toy theater presentations of contemporary issues, which also play as a shadow theater projection on the other end. One work looks at late night cable TV viewing, the second at the Iraq war, and the third plays out a scene from the Abu Ghraib scandal.
To quote G.K. Chesterton:
"Has not everyone noticed how sweet and startling any landscape looks when viewed through an arch?... The most beautiful part of every picture is the frame. This is especially true of the toy theater, that by reducing the scale of events it can introduce much larger events. Because it is so small it could easily represent the Day of Judgment."
